Alistair is a Commercial & Franchising Lawyer at Legalite, having worked with the firm since almost the beginning. He started out as a paralegal in 2017, until becoming fully admitted as a lawyer in early 2019. During this time, he has developed an interest and expertise in all aspects of start-up, small business and franchising law.
Before his legal journey started, Alistair balanced life between working governmental roles and being a gun-barista – and he can still make a decent latte.
Alistair’s passion is to simplify complicated systems, providing tailored assistance to help businesses kick goals with confidence. He can assist with:
- bringing ideas to reality through IP advice, marketing advice, and drafting commercial contracts
- supporting businesses through major changes, such as business or share sales and lease acquisitions
- guiding individuals through important business choices, such as the decision to invest in a business or franchise system
- providing ongoing advice to ensure businesses are compliant with applicable laws
